According to a recent U.S. Newsweek article, getting a good night’s sleep could be one the smartest health priorities you set. Potential health consequences of not getting enough include the cardiovascular, endocrine, immune and nervous systems.

 

A 2006 Institute of Medicine report shows that people who get less than seven hours a sleep per night, the less amount of sleep they get, the more obese they tend to be.
